Branch Out

Her hovering head one story tall, a young woman looks coolly over her Georgia Avenue with one bold, yellow bubbly adjective in a thought cloud over her flowing locks -- Sweet. A community input panel, comprised of local residents, community stakeholders and artists, selected the final design. In addition, the local ANC approved the artwork for grant funding and permit approval.

Funded in part by DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, Public Art Building Communities Grant Program. Matching funds were provided by JAIR LYNCH Development Partners and AHD, Inc. Presented in partnership with Cultural Development Corporation.
